Earlier this week (July 21st to be exact) marked the last day that any user of Yahoo! Personals could switch to Match.com, the service that will be taking over all the accounts that previously existed within the Yahoo! service.

The cost of Match.com is not too expensive compared to many online dating services. The subscription prices are all based on different time ranges you sign up for. It has been recently announced that Match.com will become the official online dating site for Yahoo!. As a part of this change, Yahoo! Personals will be offering its current members the opportunity to move to a new co-branded dating service that will be called “Match.com on Yahoo!”.

A friend of mine tried out the Match.com 6 Month Guaranteeprogram where if you don’t meet that “special someone”, you will get 6 months free.
