Often I’m contacted by businesses looking to promote their services and this time it’s from a company in the United Kingdom called Life Coach Directory. As the name implies, the site provides services by Life Coaches who have expertise in different areas of life where they are specialized…or I guess that would be specialised for my U.K. readers :)

Here’s an interesting article over at The Hill that discusses how the recession has affected online dating. There are many interesting facts in this article such as Match.com has 56% male members and that when the economy suffers a blow, such as a day where the stock market is down, activity on dating sites goes up. With the site Chatroulette becoming so popular, it’s no surprise to see people jumping on the idea wagon. In this case, someone has come up with the idea of combining the random video chatting of Chatroulette with dating online and they’ve ended up with MyChanceRomance (or what I would like to call “the most painful way to date online if you hate rejection”).
