I found this image and thought it was great. I suppose many readers may not get this…but then again when World of Warcraft has millions of subscribers I guess more than a few will get it. This one may ring a little too true for some of us! Having an MMO background (played Everquest for years starting at its launch and it still has a warm place in my heart), I can totally understand this. Some of these games are so consuming you actually are able to forget about any desire for a relationship.
Still….they are fun…

I met my last girlfriend through WoW, we dated 5 years before we just drifted apart. I’ve met other people that I have stayed friends with even after I closed my acct. However, my experience is that when WoW first started there were more hard-core gamers, people who understood and helped one-another, since then it has become rather childish and selfish and just not fun. I am not sure that finding love in an MMO would be an easy quest to complete. Now if Blizzard combined a dating site with an MMO, you might have something there?
