I really loved this article on online daters to avoid. I only wish I would have read it before I had started online dating. Give this a read: I really believe it can help people avoid making some mistakes. I just cannot say enough good things about this article because I experienced so much of what it talks about.

One thing I would like to add to the article: make sure you don’t become one of these “five daters to avoid”. That might sound odd but it is easier to do than you would think. For example, take the “Whiner”. There’s a good chance the individual described here didn’t start out this way but due to circumstances (rejection, too many bad dates, low self-esteem) they have become calloused. They are still, deep-down, hoping for success and happiness but are only making everyone they meet (temporarily) miserable. I myself wasn’t too far from being described as a “Whiner” early on when I thought the lack of instant success online meant that either there was something horribly wrong with me or everyone I met (I think I choose the latter).

At any rate, what I am saying is that I think most of the people who end up on a list like this are not bad people, just bad dates. They probably had high hopes just like everyone else when they started online dating; something just went horribly wrong along the way. So yes, use this list to save yourself some headaches. But please consider examining yourself as well to make sure that any lack of success isn’t being brought on by a bad attitude, an addiction to dating itself, or anything else listed in the article.
